If Wang wants some assistance I could write up or even set up the ranks. I am very familiar with Proboards, used it all the time for Half-Life roleplay communities.

Creating ranks can be pretty easy. I've done it before too on other sites, it's just giving titles to a bunch of people. But this: "then the specialties limited to Film Maker; Halo Player; Actor; Editor; Writer; and 2 more at the most then have the MODS Then ADMIN/OWNER" I disagree with. Actor/Editor/Writer, maybe, but to me thats a little specific. If we went with things such as "Machinima Director"/"Machinimator", "Gamer", "Voice Actor", "Montage Creator", "Forger", etc, etc, that'd be simpler and would look nice. Also, too, if Wangtime really wanted to get into it, he could create 'levels' for each rank. For example: Aspiring Director/Machinimator Medium Director Big Director or Halo Gamer Halo Player Halo Enthusiast Halo Lover or something along those lines, obviously doesn't have to be that exactly. That's kind of how the rates are set up on Halo Archive. I know Wangtime has been on there (not sure about the rest of the staff), so maybe he could lean towards something like that. The only thing is, it would be smart to have someone or some people in charge of that "rate." If anything, all it could be is judging to see if a person deserves the next rank for something or not. Yea that's how I first learned of and talked to Wangtime, was from Archive. But yea, maybe they could have a staff member set to watch over the ranks like that. |

There isn't much else they could go on. The only other thing I can think of for them to use is link your youtube channel and base it on how active you are, and that would be a lot more work. |
