Many of you know that HCS or other Halo championships/tournaments are either played in the US or online and they don't really have the biggest cash prizes. It leaves us EU players (Sweden masterrace) out, well not completily. We can still fly to the US, be there for minimum of a week in a hotel, buy food/clothes/souveniers and all that is rather expensive for us and a 1st place on 10k doesn't really pay much off, especially if it's going to be split to all 4 players.
Any thoughts on this topic? Feel free to tell!

It does suck that the non-English speaking countries are prioritized, but hey you could always organised your own event? I might not be big at first be the more often it goes down the more and more people will show up leading to big things!

I believe they do have HCS tournaments in the EU. I know there is a tournament hosted every year there (idk if for Halo and I can't remember the name and I think in Germany). Anyways, there is or was an EU tournament where the winner went into the season 1 finals. But yes, there should be more tournaments over there.

There's going to be one tournament for HCS here in EU but it's still not much compared to what's been in the past. It would be nice if 343i could make a EU bracket and a US bracket which later on takes the top 5 players of each region into one huge tournament like they do with LCS.

I'm 18, no money and shit grades and people will most likely see it as some AGL ripoff. You remember what happened with AGL, riiiight?

However, I think the reason they have not done so is because of the amount of teams. There didn't seem to be a huge amount of teams who signed up for the most recent EU tournaments. I may be mistaken, but that could be the cause.
