I am looking forward to all the possibilities that 343 have set up, including the Arbiter, Locke, Mendicant Bias, Reach, the Master Chief's humanity, the Janus Key, Catherine Halsey and the SPARTAN-II programme, Blue Team, Bornstellar and the Master Chief's relation to the Iso-Didact, the return of the Flood and the possibility of the Didact returning or the Forerunners in general! It's all really exciting, but we'll just have to see where 343 takes it.

I'm more excited for the campaign than anything really. A lot of people believe the flood will return, which may be partially true, but I had originally thought that the Precursors would actually make it into their first halo game. If the new forerunner Mega Block is any indication, this may not be the case.
The fact is that we don't know that much, so naturally I'm curious.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. The multiplayer beta was awesome and the set-up for the story in Halo 5 so far has been incredibly interesting.

I am personally looking forward to the campaign as well. The multiplayer, forge, and theater are all important to me as well but I am curious on how they are going introduce everything to us. The arbiter returning is a big deal to me, and The Great Schism is an event I would love to know even more about! One more thing, does anyone know anything about what the statue is going to look like in the collector's edition? Any speculation on that guys?

I am really hoping that they allow us to play as elites. I am glad they did not screw up /all/ of their anatomy like they did for halo four...
Now if they make machinima much less of a pain by easing black screens and even allowing more forge options and camera options, it will be golden!

343 has let me down so much recently that anything other than the campaign doesn't appeal to me. I'm excited to see Arby n the Chief back together (double pun  ), and I'm interested in how the campaign will be. But after H2A/the MCC and.. well… that mess… I'm not looking forward to the multiplayer stuff. Hopefully they fix all of their problems. Make forge and theatre better… and, well… fix a buuuuuunch of problems the MCC has/had/is. |

I'm looking forward to the campaign but I'm very dissapointed at the multiplayer (for various reasons I'm not going to be bothered mentioning). I only wish they'd make the graphics less realistic looking, Reach has so far the better graphics imo.

On terms of Halo 5, I don't know yet. I think the problem with me when looking at Halo 5 is looking at it like a Halo game. I need to lose any and all expectations for it and see it as a whole new game. However I am unsure about it. I didn't like the way the story for Halo 4 relied on knowledge of the books (which I didn't nor plan to read). I am afraid they may do it again. With the beta I either loved it or hated it enough to stab my xbox multiple times. There was no in between. The sort of lock on thing being removed I was not used to and if I actually would play it enough I could probably get used to it. To me the armor felt like paper. Light enough to add movement and did shit for absorbing damage. The AR can make headshots(not 100% sure on that) in terms of gameplay that kills the player way too quick. I play Halo to be a super soldier and while some people feel they are more of a super soldier in Halo 5. I feel more vulnerable and that I took gymnastics in my spare time aboard the Infinity. I feel more immune to damage in Titanfall. Now thats just me. For the BR it is a three round burst but it shoots so fast you can hardly tell. However these are all small things I can get over. Its the forge, custom games, and Machinima capabilities that will convince me to get it. Sooo idk if I am excited or not, but I do know I'm not excited enough to buy it on launch day. |
