Since this site/forums has some potential to become big and have some great minds that can innovate Halo for the better in all aspects and I was wondering if we could try to get in contact with 343i in some way, like Reddit or Team Beyond is.
By that I mean is should we try to get 343i's attention to our forums aswell so they can get more feedback? We still don't know what these forums will mold to but as of yet it's abstract and is a forum for all but who knows, maybe it'll be a forum for the causals or competetive!
What do you guys think, should 343i notice us and see us as a valid forum aswell? ("Senpai notice me!")

Hell no. I would prefer this a fan site. Something that the developers don't have complete control over. It would be a much more constricting environment if 343I could do what they wanted here. It might not bother some people but I don't want to feel like I'm held at gunpoint to say only positives about the new Halo. Or even I don't want this website flooded with hundreds of people. I like the state of the site now. Big where new members are joing everyday but small enough to where the everyday members are familiar faces instead of a flood of hundreds of posters. So no I don't think we should get in contact with 343I to make it an official thing.

I don't want 343i to controll this website, I want them too give it a notice like they do to Reddit or Team Beyond. They visit the websites and gain feedback there and are just general members there if they now want to make threads or respond to some. The current state of the site is rather....empty to be quite honest and it wouldn't hurt to have some more members here but they won't come just because a member or two from 343i visit from time to time with no one knowing. |
