Some of us may have heard of the amazing movie based on a true story known as Foxcatcher. If Your not familiar with it I have a trailer below for all you to see. Now this got me thinking..... what if there was a Halo Machinima like this.... but instead of focusing on wrestling it focuses on Griffball.... Now I know you may think that is stupid but it presents the perfect opportunity to make a dramatic machinima based on a popular game type and be like Foxcatcher. Definitely seems doable it would just have be well written and third-person perceptive when they are running the ball. I feel having a free roaming camera would have it look silly. It can be done, but the camera work has match the fast paced game of GriffBall. Other than that I'd say go for it.

While I honestly believe it can be done, much like machinima horrors or romances, it just isn't something I see someone taking very seriously. Everything Griffball related that I have watched is a comedy. With that and the fact the ball explodes, I don't see someone making a very serious type of machinima like a sports movie. For example, Foxcatcher.

But I was also thinking of having first person for whoever has the ball and stuff. |

Richochet is the only thing that comes to mind as far as gametypes, but maybe you should consider hockey. I remember playing on a map (don't ask for download, I don't still have it) that worked really well with it. |

Hmmmm that is another possibility but the thing that bothers me is the Holographic Skull in the ball. Also I could try to ask around about the mods in Reach where you can have the bomb in any game type.

Also I could try to ask around about the mods in Reach where you can have the bomb in any game type. There's no skull in the hockey ball gametype. You actually use a soccer ball instead on Halo Reach. I think that Mike Wb has made videos about those mods. I'll link you to the vid.
