I want to see your opinion on loadouts. While I was talking with a friend, I told him how Halo 5 will be equal starts and he was sooo dissapointed. He's a COD player, so I can see why, but I was like "!?!?!?"
So, what's your opinion on loadouts? Personally, I don't think they work with Halo games.

I personally think load outs in halo is stupid. Takes away from what the original Halo feel is.
Halo 2 and 3 had amazing (and IMO the best) multiplayer.

I have to disagree at some aspects of the argument that loadouts are COD like. With loadouts, multiplayer feels like it has more variety in combat situations.
I play COD, but I've been playing halo far longer than COD (11 years). Honestly I don't think that it takes away the origional halo feel - you guys could always disable loadouts if you don't like it.

Halo is about knowing exactly what the enemy has when you start shooting them, which is the same weapon as you. (of course there are power weapons, but those are things that are known with map awareness and teammate callouts). Fights should be won by skill, not exploding your own face with a grenade because someone surprises you with armor lock at the last second. Furthermore, being able to spawn with certain AAs promotes defensive gameplay, slowing the pace down and making it less interesting. Sprint is a perfect example that I could type forever about. Camo is also a good example. Power-up camo allows you to retain full mobility and be aggressive, whereas the AA camo makes you crouch walk everywhere and hide in corners.

Well, what I mean is like, in Halo 3 you had to go and fight for the weapons. (or find them) So you couldn't spawn with a plasma pistol and EMP every vehicle all the time, or spawn with BRs (on an AR game type) and would have to go and find them. I just find that is what originally made Halo unique, and I wish they'd stick to it. But I play(ed) CoD all the time too, and love the load outs in that game. Its just different is all.

I don't like loadouts because it gives unfair advantages and dissadvantages and creates diversity in a game where diversety only exists within a player's knowledge and skill.
Sure they can be fun in custom games but for online, never.

I enjoyed them when Halo 4 came out because was a pretty big noob at the time. I've grown out of them though.

I honestly couldn't say it any better, Turret. Some games work very well with loadouts, like Titanfall for example, but Halo is just not one of those games that I see it working out very much.

I don't like the loadout system. Some weapons of that nature should be found on the map and not spawned with (plasma grenades). I hated the Halo 4 loadout system and the Halo Reach system was passable since the gametype creater makes the loadouts and not each individual player. I am glad Halo 5 has no loadouts and I think it should stay that way for most gamemodes.
