Is there any way to get rid of these annoying ad banners that have constantly been appearing everywhere on the site?

I believe the only way to do so is to pay to have them removed, depending on what you're seeing.

I see two advertisements, one above and below the forum. Hardly annoying stuff, in any case it costs us to remove them and right now we aren't large enough to warrant spending money on something like that. As we grow things will gradually improve and ads will be removed but for now they're here to stay unfortunately.

I see two advertisements, one above and below the forum. Hardly annoying stuff, in any case it costs us to remove them and right now we aren't large enough to warrant spending money on something like that. As much as we'd love too, we do indeed have to pay to get them removed, so until we begin to make revenue, the ads have to stay, and as for performance issues, it depends on what your PC can handle, other than that all I can say for now is sorry man :\ |

Why not just get the "Ad Block" Chrome extension. Maybe then you casuals will stop complaining.
