We all now know what Locke's armor is called now but now begs a few questions:
What was it built for?
How many Hunter Armors exist?
Who designed it?
Will Locke be the only one to have it?
What technology is it composed of?
What are your thoughts?

Well, since Locke is ONI, we can already imagine a there are a couple of experimental forrunner systems in it.
I believe Locke will be the only one to have that specific configuration in the story. Because we saw his team we can tell they do have a special kind of armor, but all the armors appear to be different. (especially in the helmet and lights on the armor)My speculation on this is that they are different variants of the same armor, each with different Helmets and different abilities to them.
As for who designed it, I couldn't really tell. The only person we know of that has enough knowledge to put forrunner tech into a spartan suit is Halsey. Seeing how she is working with the Storm Covenant/ Covenant Remnant, I don't think that's likely.
And finally, I believe it was built for exactly what its called. Hunting things, whether used on humans of other species. It probably has its own built in active camo so it can stalk its prey more efficiently.
Obviously this is just what I think, and more than likely will be proven wrong on some or all of this in the coming months.
